Wooh! I'm very excited about this one. Too bad it's only going to be one episode, but I'm sure there's room for more Grickle-themed games in the future. It would be awesome if Dunk/Dank's storyline could be concluded in a Puzzle Agent-style game or something.
But yeah, useless speculation aside, I'm very glad to see more of Nelson! Hopefully the wait won't be too long, I really, really liked the first one.
YES! YES! YES! I liked the first game very much! The only complain I had that there wasn't to many puzzles. So please keep up the good work and create more puzzles!
I've been involved in a long-distance relationship with my girlfriend for a little over three years now and we only infrequently see each other. With college and a distance of about 300 miles, it can be as little as three times a year.
When last she visited me, for Christmas, I pulled out a game I had yet to get around to playing, Puzzle Agent, in the hopes of killing some empty time. Despite our completely opposite taste in games and her unfamiliarity with your other work it went over well. It went over very well. We solved the puzzles together, teased each other about stupid guesses, had our "Aha!" moments, and beat the game in one sitting.
She jumped in her chair and screamed every time the gnomes showed up.
Those few hours are easily one of my favorite memories of us together. And now there's a sequel. Set to be released in "Spring/Summer" when my girlfriend is visiting me for two weeks in the middle of summer...
I've been playing this app game for a couple weeks now. It's very fun. I have to pace myself or I'd be playing it all the time...the puzzles...they have me tranced....;)

Hey Mr. Grickle,
ReplyDeleteDo you write and create all the music for your short films? I like the music and sound effects.
Kyle
